The Longest Day: Progressive Rock
The Longest Day are an alternative experimental rock band hailing from Bournemouth. Already gaining a strong following in their home town they have since taken their unique mix of passionate, brooding-yet-catchy rock up and down the UK, impressing crowds with their huge sound and enigmatic live show.
The band have recently finished work on their as-yet unreleased debut album mixed by Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral for a friend, Lost Prophets, Manic Street Preachers). With stunning cover art by Marvel Comics & 2000AD artist Boo Cook (Wolverine, Judge Dredd).

The Neon Tigers: Prog Rock and Big Sounds
Formed in the summer of 2009 TNT are trying to bring back a sense of theatre to music. The band are all about big songs with big melodies. Rich Peacock (former Clams frontman) felt the need to form a brand new band after previous band 'Clams' went their seperate ways in May 2009 and hooked up with John Hancock (drummer) for a few jam sessions. With the addition of guitarist Jon Kearley and bass man Gary Hennessey The Neon Tigers were formed. TNT made their debut performance at a packed out Solid Air night in December and recieved glowing reviews from Dorset Rock Online and BHone. With plans to gig hard in the UK, 2010 should be a busy year for the Tigers. Some of these reviews likened their sound to early Queen/T-Rex but with a unique modern twist.......have a listen and hear for yourself!

Achilles: Electro soundscapes
Achilles are a 7-piece, primarily instrumental band. Musically, they bring a genre-defying fresh mix of sounds, drawing influence from Jazz, Rock, Drum and Bass, Electronica, Dub and soundscapes. Rob da Bank described them on his radio show as ‘Fantastic… like DJ Shadow but playing it live.’

Lady Winwoods Maggot: Country with a Kick
It's Country with a kick and a black wardrobe. Some call it Death Western, some call it Hellbilly Punk, we'll let you make up your own minds because we have no idea.
Lady Winwoods Maggot have been together for many years, performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, as well as several of the smaller south coast festivals such as the Wimborne Folk Festival and The Great Dorset Steam Fair, at which they have headlined the weekend slots in the folk tent to a crowd of around 2000 people for ten years. They have self organised and funded a tour of New Zealand and supported acts such as Shane MacGowan and the Alabama 3.
Their music fuses traditional American and Irish music with self-written songs and presents them with an old-school punk attitude. Banjo, Mandolin and Acoustic Guitar are backed with thunderous Drums and Bass. Throw in some Electric Guitar and you have what some may describe as the sound of Johnny Cash shagging The Clash on Elvis' couch.

Sarah Griffin: Acoustic folk with an uplifting vibe
Sarah Griffin and her band have been together for just under a year. A yorkshire girl, Sarah began her musical venture 6 years ago at a bournemouth open mic with a few scribbled lyrics and some dutch courage. Now, with the help of her band, she's created a unique blend of folk pop with a touch of indie thrown in; it makes for eclectic listening..

Si Genaro: Acoustic crazyness
