We have alot of different entertainment at Bournemouth Ink and one of these is a small stage that is seperate from the main stage and contains a selection of acoustic acts and performances.
In 2010 the stage was run by local promoters, Fairplay.
FairPlay is one of the most exciting new live music events and promotions companies on the South Coast. Situated in sunny Bournemouth, FairPlay is on a mission to showcase our excellent local live acts and D.J.'s from a grass roots level.
Born out of Founder Ant Lewis's (Dusty Cuts) less than favorable early experiences of the local scene, Fairplay also aims to always be ethical, help facilitate a community spirit between artists, to actively promote and provide free help and support to all performers, to always use the best sound systems and engineers ...and to put on a damn good party!
Events:
FairPlay are currently working closely with Chaplins/Cellar Bar and O'Neill's with their hugely successful main weekly events, "The IntroJuicer" where new, unsigned, underground bands and D.J.'s audition for regular well paid weekend gigs. And "The Sunday Best" which provides a platform for singer songwriters and experimental acts to showcase themselves in a great atmosphere and to an appreciative audience.
"The Introjuicer" - Every Thursday @ The Cellar Bar Boscombe.
"The Sunday Best" - Every Sunday alternating weekly between Chaplin's Bar, Boscombe and O'Neill's.
"No Work Monday" Bank Holiday Party's @ O'Neill's Bournemouth.
"The Big One" - FairPlay take over a three storey club with the best local live acts and D.J.'s. of the year from the IntroJuicer and Sunday Best nights.
